As I approached the half century mark, I found that my energy wasn’t what it once was and it was harder for me to get excited about starting new projects. Since I started drinking green smoothies regularly and adding a scoop of ribose to my morning tea, I have felt a return of energy, enthusiasm and vitality. Now that I am past the aforementioned “half century mark”, life has gotten more fun and interesting. I feel like the caterpillar who thought life was over and suddenly woke up as a butterfly!

Macha Green Tea

I have made it a rule to try to have a macha green tea latte everyday because the macha powder is so good for you in so many ways. Usually I get my fix at Starbucks but I recently discovered a more economic way to get my fix. There is a tea brand called The Republic of Tea that produces a Double Green Matcha Tea which is a combination of Chinese green tea leaves and macha tea powder. It is more expensive than other commercially available brewing teas but is well worth it I brew mine with a small amount of steaming hot water and then add warm soymilk to make a green tea latte at home.
